Lessons Learned: Construction Critical Path Method Schedules

CPM is a tool used nationally to monitor project progress, document changes, identify responsibilities, provide information in a claim situation, and identify critical paths to proactively mitigate project risk. Due to the size and complexity of the NDDOT U.S. Highway 85 project, NDDOT’s current CPM spec was added to NH-7-085(116)127, PCN 22683 U.S. Highway 85 during the 2023 and 2024 construction seasons. Presenters will provide a brief overview on CPM scheduling and its application to U.S. Highway 85 followed by a Q&A panel discussion.
