Transportation agencies ponder how a planning and environment linkages (PEL) approach can help them. What is a PEL approach and are the benefits worth considering? How do local governments become involved? What are the optimal timeframes for PEL activities and how is project acceleration achieved at no additional cost? Dialogue will also address project screening considerations when selecting a PEL approach, then conclude by sharing real-world implementation on the I-94 Midway Grant Marsh Bridge Engineering and Feasibility study.
